Project Manager
Technical / Software Support Engineer
Project Manager
Agentek is looking for project manager with at least 7-10 years of experience in the Software industry. An Agentek project manager is responsible for the overall project welfare of multiple accounts. The person must have experience with managing or leading a team that has implemented a larger external IT project - preferably wireless mobile solutions or enterprise software projects. The responsibilities for the position are listed below but will not be limited to these due to constant changing requirements for the position:
Responsibilities:
- Overall project scope, deliverables, schedule and overall profitability for assigned projects
- Project oversight of the entire implementation of a wireless mobile solution
- Facilitate the entire implementation schedule for assigned enterprise accounts
- Scheduling of all implementation tasks throughout the project
- Ongoing software support for assigned accounts including the management of software issues and enhancement requests from the customer
- Escalating vendor & 3rd party issues
- Escalating all priority issues from the customer to necessary groups internally
- Overseeing the logistical maintenance of a project for Agentek services and hardware rollouts
- Resource management and allocation for assigned projects
- Risk management of all assigned projects
- Facilitating the training schedules during the implementation phase
Candidate Must Possess the Following Traits:
- Must be a strong leader and have the ability to manage different personalities from different departments
- Excellent customer communication & negotiating skills
- Capable of making quick and decisive decisions
- Able to adjust to change both rapidly and effectively
- Provides comprehensive status reports to customers and Agentek management
- Preferred IT/Business
Experience:
Experience and education in the following areas is not required but beneficial with the position:
- Experience working with wireless communication technologies (CDMA, GPRS, 820.11) and mobile hardware (ruggedized handhelds, smart phones, and tablet PCs)
- Experience working with Oracle, SAP, AS/400, or other enterprise backend systems
- Experience in the field service, transportation, or field sales markets
- PMP certified
Technical/Software Support Engineer
Agentek is looking for a technical support engineer with at least 2 years of experience in the Software industry. An Agentek technical support engineer is responsible for the technical support of multiple accounts. The person must have experience with troubleshooting software issues in a software house - preferably wireless mobile solutions or enterprise software environment. The responsibilities for the position are listed below but will not be limited to these:
Responsibilities
- Troubleshoot Mobile computing devices and several communication mediums
- Provide level 2 support for customers as well as level 1 employees on Software, Hardware, and Communication issues
- Monitor, analyze, and recommend process improvements.
- Monitor and Maintain customer installations
- Work with customers to resolve their software, hardware, and communication issues.
- Responsible from the point the issue was received up to the point when it is resolved.
- After hours support
- Escalation of unresolved issues
Candidate Must Possess the Following Traits:
- An undergraduate degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, or related discipline
- Demonstrated customer service experience -> Communication, customer handling skills, etc.
- Analytical mind set.
- Demonstrated troubleshooting / problem solving experience.
- Ability to think creatively and to speak and write clearly, particularly in effectively communicating technical ideas and concepts to customers by phone and email.
- Follow processes and procedures.
- 2 + years of experience in Technical Software Support in a commercial environment.
- Experience in Networking, Routing
- Experience with MS SQL, Mysql or other database/s
- Microsoft Windows Server
